We’re looking for a Chief Engineer/Head Mechanic for our rapidly-growing groundcare business.  We offer the most comprehensive mobile facility in the South of England and a prestigious, exclusive dealership contract with Infinicut. Plus, you’ll have the opportunity to influence the equipment and interior layout of a brand-new, purpose-built workshop which is currently under construction at our East Horton Golf Club base near Winchester.

You will be responsible for supervising and assigning responsibilities to your workshops and engineering team, ensuring that all of these repairs and maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively:

-Daily set-up, repair and servicing of groundcare machinery and equipment

-Regular training and development of the team

-Detailed inventory control

-Diagnosing and providing accurate information to enable machinery repair quotes to be created

-Completing all required paperwork for work assignments

-Performing diagnostics and repairs in the field

You will have:

-Previous experience in a managerial role

-Groundcare experience on fine turf, cylinder mowers, precision re-grinding and professional sports

-A keen eye for detail and exceptional quality control

-Good communication and organisational skills
