Job Title: Head Mechanic (Groundcare & Agricultural Machinery)
Pay: £19PH – £21PH (£42,000 – £46,000 DOE)

About your new company:
My client a leading household name within the sporting industry is seeking an experienced Groundcare / Agricultural Machinery Mechanic to be based at their site near St Albans, Hertfordshire. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Groundcare or Agricultural Engineer who is looking to take a leap from a dealer environment to a Workshop-based role.
What you’ll need to succeed as a Head Mechanic (Groundcare & Agricultural Machinery):
- Knowledge of agricultural & groundcare equipment such as tractors, telehandlers and ride-on mowers.
- Ability to perform repairs and maintenance using correct tools and equipment on leading manufacturer brands such as John Deere, New Holland, Torro & Kubota
- Applicants must be confident in using laptop diagnostic methods in addition to traditional mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic diagnostic techniques
- NVQ in Land Based Engineering is highly desirable
