We are looking to expand our team with dedicated and experienced Head Greenkeepers.

Your Responsibilities:

• Team leadership and organization: Planning, coordination, and supervision of all tasks related to course maintenance. Managing documentation requirements for the relevant authorities.
• Golf course maintenance: Responsible for the care of greens, tees, fairways, bunkers, and roughs, including fertilization, irrigation, and aeration.
• Machinery supervision: Maintenance and upkeep of greenkeeping machinery and equipment, as well as investment planning.
• Quality control: Ensuring a consistently high standard of course maintenance in line with the club’s requirements and standards.
• Irrigation system management: Monitoring the functionality and efficiency of the irrigation system to ensure optimal water supply for the course.
• Resource management: Responsible for the procurement of materials such as fertilizers, seeds, and plant protection products, as well as their proper storage and disposal.
• Project planning and execution: Implementing renovation and construction projects, as well as seasonal maintenance tasks.
• Collaboration with club management: Close coordination with club leadership to ensure the long-term maintenance and development strategy of the golf course.
• Employee motivation and development: Training and professional development of staff in greenkeeping.

Your Profile:

• Completed training as a greenkeeper, preferably with further qualification as Head Greenkeeper or Assistant Head Greenkeeper.
• Several years of professional experience in golf course maintenance, ideally in a leadership position.
• Solid knowledge of turf care processes and techniques, as well as machinery and equipment.
• Good knowledge of fertilizers, plant protection products, and other maintenance products.
• Experience in leading and motivating teams.
• High sense of responsibility, organizational skills, and flexibility.
• Independent and structured working style.
• Strong team spirit and communication skills.
• Good command of German (written and spoken) and a valid driver’s license.
