An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Greenkeeper at Denton Golf Club, Manchester.

The club is renowned for being one of the premier 18-hole parkland courses in Manchester and the North West.

Currently we have an established team of five greenkeepers and are looking to add someone who also knows how to produce work to a high standard. The team has a great mix of practical and academic experience, which is reflected in the course presentation. We have a long-term plan in place to improve the playing surfaces with drainage projects, and an organic approach to fertility.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A minimum of 2 years practical experience
• NVQ level 2 or equivalent
• PA1, PA2 and PA6a spraying qualifications
• A full UK driving license

Job role:

• 40 hour working week Monday-Friday – Weekends on rota basis paid at 1.5x overtime rate
• Able to use a range of machinery
• Maintain all playing surfaces
• Ability to carry out work as part of a team or alone
• Good communication with Head Greenkeeper and Deputy
• Carry out machinery maintenance Job benefits
