Full-Time Deputy Head Greenkeeper – Tyrifjord Golfklubb

Tyrifjord Golfklubb, renowned for its outstanding service and pristine course maintenance, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Head Greenkeeper to join our team full-time. Located on the beautiful island of Storøya, 40km from Oslo, Tyrifjord offers a serene and challenging golfing experience.

About the Club
Our course, designed by Jan Sederholm and Tor Eia, is one of Norway’s top golfing destinations, known for its meticulous upkeep and warm, inclusive atmosphere. Tyrifjord Golfklubb is home to 900 members and has hosted prestigious events such as the Norwegian Strokeplay Championship and Norwegian Cup Final.

Role Overview
You will assist in leading our greenkeeping team under Head Greenkeeper Nick Dash, playing a key role in maintaining the course’s high standards. Responsibilities include planning and executing maintenance schedules, ensuring the health of turf and landscaping, and managing equipment.

• Leading and supervising the greenkeeping team
• Planning and implementing maintenance schedules
• Monitoring course health and appearance
• Operating and maintaining golf course equipment

• NVQ Level 3 in Greenkeeping or equivalent
• At least 7 years of experience, with 2 in a senior role
• Strong leadership and communication skills
