Job Title:                                              Territory Manager – West

Reporting to:                                        Global Sales Director

Reporting Responsibilities:                  No direct reports

Location:                                              Home based. Extensive travelling and regular periods of time working away from home.  Occasional requirement to travel overseas.

PURPOSE/ MAIN OBJECTIVES OF ROLE

  • To create and implement a strategic sales plan that aligns with company goals and objectives, to enable you to increase revenue and achieve sales targets.
  • Develop and build new business and customer relationships throughout the Western States of the USA.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyse results, and create reports to Directors on a regular basis.
  • To perform regular market research in order to stay ahead of the competition. This involves gathering data on the industry, identifying new trends and monitoring the competition.
  • To communicate effectively with the Global Sales Director ensuring that plans are understood and effectively implemented.

RESPONSIBILITIES/ ACCOUNTABILITIES/ TASKS

  1. Work with SIS Pitches Directors on the continuing developing of SIS Pitches as a leading hybrid turf system and Global brand.
  2. Utilise industry contacts to expand SIS Pitches products into the Western USA market.
  3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand the customer needs ensuring long-term customer satisfaction.
  4. Conduct market research to identify potential customers, new sales opportunities and staying up to date with industry trends and customer needs.
  5. Assist with SIS Pitches marketing to ensure sales materials are suitable and made available to new markets and distributors. Make recommendations for new materials as required.
  6. Co-ordination and assistance of project installations into new markets to ensure SIS’ quality and service level is maintained at all times. Work with SIS Pitches project co-ordinators and installations crews when required.
  7. Attend monthly Teams meetings and submit written reports.
  8. Plan and prioritise tasks effectively to ensure deadlines are met.
  9. Provide monthly expenses with receipts for approval.

Qualifications:

•             Maths & English Qualifications

•             Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing preferred

  • Leadership and management skills: You must be able to effectively manage a team of sales representatives and other employees within the location.
  • Sales and marketing skills: You must have a strong understanding of sales and marketing principles and be able to develop effective sales and marketing strategies.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills: You must be able to analyse sales data and identify trends, as well as find solutions to complex problems.
  • Communication skills: You must be able to communicate effectively with clients, sales representatives, and other key stakeholders.
  • Time management skills: You must be able to plan and prioritize tasks effectively to ensure that deadlines are met.
